I want to be like Bob Loblaw

Ok, we'll see how this whole blogging thing goes. Wedding-related coincidences brought me here, diving into this experiment that may or may not be sustainable. First, I came across an awesome wedding blog one day a few weeks ago while I was procrastinating from my prelim reading. This blog got me all jazzed up--both about making a nicer wedding webpage (annazeide.googleplages.com/wedding) and about the power of writing and describing and putting yourself out there in the e-world through written word. Then, when I was tidying up that there webpage of ours, the only way I could first think of creating a comment section for people to coordinate rooming situations on our google page was to start a blog that people could get to by clicking on a link from the website. Thus, Madison in June was born. (Even then, I suspect I had some inner desire to turn this into a regular blog, not just wedding-focused, since I gave it a fairly general name).

So, when I figured out how to insert html code that would allow for a comments section on the google page, I no longer needed this blog for roommate coordination. But, since I can't let anything go to waste, it seemed only right that I should turn this electronic space into the blog I've always intended to have. There you have it.

I think the only way this will work is if I know people are actually reading it and wanting more posts. Although I'm not sure I want to announce it to the world of my friends in any overt way, if you stumble across this, please leave me a comment and let me know!

  1. Did you write this post before or after I reminded you how great "Arrested Development" is?

  2. Before! We were thinking along the same Arrested-Development-lines. We must share some DNA or something...
